Pasta Craze!

Let's go a little pasty crazy here...we hardly ever eat pasta!

Falafel

My mum had given us a DIY-falafel-mix when she came to visit in January. And since we had a whole bunch of ketchup baggies in the fridge it seemed like the perfect day to make them:

Bejeweled Salad - an Attempt

we bought a pomegrante at the market thinking its seeds would look like little rubies peeking through the green lettuce. unfortunately, our pomegranete was a little on the pale side. but it tasted delicious anyway!

Une soirée japonaise...well, kind of!

A few weeks ago we had friends over for munchies and a little cidre dégustation!
Here's what we did:






toasted baguette with goat's cream cheese, honey, and pepper



guacamole!! (not so japanese :o)
avocado, garlic, lemon juice, tomato, salt & pepper



japanese rice seasoned with soy sauce, sesame, and wasabi. garnished with sea weed



toasted baguette with goat's cream cheese and a fig-walnut-marmelade
